Rex and Sally Sartain were actively involved in the hospitality industry for many years. After Rex retired from international corporate business, Sally and he moved to the East Gippsland region of Victoria where they opened two restaurants, Sartain's at Metung and Sally's (in Lakes Entrance), which they operated for 12 years until 1994.

Both restaurants were widely acclaimed for their great food and friendly service, and both won awards for culinary excellence over the years. Rex and Sally were proud chefs at their respective restaurants.

After they moved to the Mornington Peninsula, they continued their passion for food and good wine.

They travelled widely over the years and this helped them to bring an eclectic style of hospitality to this venture - "Sartain's at Mornington". Although Rex is no longer with us, Sally and the Sartain family continue the family tradition of providing warm hospitality to our guests, including sharing an extensive knowledge of the local attractions.
